TGIF, Couturist readers! Here's my weekly roundup of all my favorites. Enjoy!
via Science of Us
I'm a huge personality test and social science book junkie, so I loved reading this article. For my fellow introverts out there, find out whether you're a social, thinking, anxious or restrained introvert by taking the quiz!
via The Atlantic
As a college student myself, I've witnessed firsthand the "bubble" of the undergraduate experience. The Atlantic examines the impact that emotionally hyper-sensitive environments have on mental health and education.
THREE // Sunday Riley's Ceramic Slip Cleanser
via Sephora
I splurged and bought this cleanser a few weeks ago— it was totally worth the price tag! I use this morning and night, but love mixing it with my makeup remover at night for a super gentle nourishing cleanse. Plus, Ceramic Slip becomes a mask when mixed with Sunday Riley's Good Genes (another favorite product!).
FOUR // Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari
via Barnes and Noble
Comedian Aziz Ansari shows off his smarts in Modern Romance, a compilation of years of research by Ansari with the help of a number of prominent social science scholars. I read Modern Romance this week and was surprised by how well-researched Ansari's work was. While a lot of what is in the book isn't necessarily groundbreaking, it is a hilarious and applicable read for any twenty-something.
FIVE // CURRENT/ELLIOT Denim
via Current Elliot
I bought a super-distressed pair of Current/Elliot Boyfriend jeans a couple of weeks ago and can't stop wearing them! The denim is the absolute softest and the fit is super flattering. I will definitely be trying on other fits before I head back to school!
xoxo,
Ashley
