2. I have been loving two new skincare discoveries this week. The first is Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Peel & Reveal Dermal Resurfacer. It smells like pumpkins (yum!) and makes my skin feel tingly. I put it on right when I get in the shower after I wash my face, but before I wash my hair and allow it to work its magic alongside the steam in opening up and cleaning my skin. It is definitely a little abrasive for every day, but as a few times per week treatment, I love it. Another great skincare product is Aveeno's Ultra Calming Make Up Removing Wipes. These wipes are really gentle and take make up off—including waterproof mascara— while also cleansing skin of impurities, dirt and oil buildup. On nights when I feel especially lazy and tired, I use two wipes—one to take off my make up and one to cleanse my face— and head to sleep. Most nights however, I use a wipe and follow it up with my regular cleanser.
3. In the past, I have struggled to find clothing that fits me well at Anthropologie. The clothes always look so cute on the hanger, but when I try them on something doesn't fall right. I am especially loving Anthropologie tops and blouses this week. I have been practically living in this Ladder Lace Tank— great with jeans, over a skirt or tucked in!
4. I have been snacking on Lesley Stowe's Raincoast Crisps throughout the week. A family friend introduced me to the fig + olive flavor (heavenly), but I recently discovered the rosemary raisin pecan crisps! Delicious on their own, but even better when paired with cheese (my favorite pairings are gouda, gruyere, manchego and brie with a little jam). They're the an easy snack/appetizer, and especially good for hanging out with friends.
5. Speaking of food, I have been enjoying going to the local farmer's market this week and every week. On Wednesday, I bought a cactus and some sun flowers (#nature) as well as the most amazing salsa. In addition to supporting local business, buying food at the farmer's market means I get to sample lots of fresh flavors. Plus, wandering around the farmer's market is a great way to spend an afternoon with friends, spend time outside, buy healthy food and enjoy summer!
