ONE || Bumble and bumble. Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Collection
What it is: All Hairdresser's Invisible Oil products feature six light oils plus two extracts. These soften hair, tame flyways, add shine and offer heat styling protection. Plus, the products contain UVA/UVB filters.
Recommendation: First off, all of these products smell heavenly. I love the primer and oil, and use the primer every day before I blow-dry. When I want some extra shine, I use a tiny amount of oil on my dry hair. Be wary, though— use too much oil and your hair will become an oil slick. On the other hand, the shampoo and conditioner have not been a great fit for my hair. I have fine, straight hair and I've found that the products leave a bit of oily residue even after rinsing. I know a few people with thicker hair who have used this and have not had this problem, though!
Worth the hype? The primer and oil, yes!
TWO || Glamglow Face Masks
What it is: The Glamglow line is made up of four treatment mud masks: a clearing mask, an exfoliating mask, a hydrating mask and a cleansing clay-to oil mask.
Recommendation: These. Are. The. Best. Honestly, the only high-end masks I think are worth the price tag. They never break me out and I've used all four throughout the year. The hydrating mask is fantastic for northeastern winters— leave a thick layer on for 20-30 minutes and then rub it in before bed. I wake up with clear, glowing and most importantly hydrated skin. Fantastic! I like the clearing mask both as a weekly mask and as an overnight spot treatment when any blemishes rear their ugly head. The exfoliating mask is great for before the cleansing mask and to fade any lingering acne/sun spots. Finally, the line's newest mud-to-oil mask is great for days your pores feel congested and need a deep, nondrying clean.

THREE || NARS The Multiple
Recommendation: I have mixed feelings about these multiples. I think the shimmer finishes are far better than the mattes, as they are nicer highlighters. However, I don't really feel that any of the colors look that great on cheeks, lips AND eyes. Usually, the multiple looks good on 2/3. The only multiple I think really lives up to the hype is Copacabana, a shimmery cream color— it is a fantastic all-over highlighter. I think the mattes, especially the darker tones, can look a bit muddy and don't blend so well on my very fair skin.
Worth the hype? Copacabana, yes!
FOUR || Dr. Dennis Gross AHA/BHA Exifoliating Pads
Recommendation: I have only tested out the original formula, but wow these pack a punch! My skin is noticeably clearer and softer after using them. I am still trying to figure out the best routine, as I think daily use is a little harsh/impractical for me. I think maybe a 7 day straight routine and then bi-weekly maintenance might work best. But I also wonder if night or morning use is more effective... Still a lot of unanswered questions, but I want to maximize the benefits of this pricey product!

FIVE || Origins GinZing Eye Cream
Recommendation: Ugh, I wanted to love this so much! However I didn't really feel refreshed after using it or see any difference under my eyes. I've had much better luck with other eye creams— bummer!

SIX || Fresh Soy Cleanser
Recommendation: I have been loving this product. It is a great makeup remover and is perfect for dry, tight skin. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without stripping it of moisture. Plus, the scent is heavenly.

SEVEN || Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
Recommendation: These are great moisturizers! I love the original formula to keep my lips soft and smooth year round. The color washes are hit and miss— my picks are the rose, honey and petal for flattering, sheer color washes.

EIGHT || Beautyblender Sponge
Recommendation: To be honest, I haven't tried this with anything other than foundation, but in that arena it works wonders. Dampen the sponge to apply the product or apply it yourself and go over your completion with the sponge to soften harsh lines. I love how natural my makeup looks when I use this product. Furthermore, I've tried a few other sponges and none seem to work quite as well as this patented product.

NINE || Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Recommendation: This is my favorite beauty luxury. The packaging is gorgeous, the smell is fresh and it feels cooling on my skin. I use this more often in the winter, but should be using it year round. The spray gives me just the right amount of moisture year round and leaves my skin feeling dewy and hydrated (not oily). It doesn't make me break out, it is just an extra, natural step that simply feels good on my skin.
Worth the hype? As a luxury, yes!
TEN || Clinique Chubby Stick
Recommendation: I see these as a bit of a step-down from the sugar lip treatments. The color is very sheer and flattering, but they don't add a ton of moisture. On a superficial level, I don't like the packaging— I think it looks kind of cheap (and these aren't cheap products!) and a bit clunky.
