A Fresh, Updated Skincare Routine & Skincare Tips

After a few years of using the same skin are products, I still wasn't satisfied with the results. My skin has always been good— mostly clear with the exception of a few blemishes and pretty soft. However, I wanted skin that was great— clearer, brighter and more even in skin tone.

I researched a few different lines, and tried out numerous samples over a few weeks while I finished up the last of my current products. Fresh Beauty seemed like it would be the right fit for me. The products are luxurious, clean and natural, and the brand is known for its holistic and ritualistic approach to skincare. I started out by purchasing the Soy Face Cleanser, Umbrian Clay Lotion and Peony Brightening SPF. I already owned the Sugar Lip Treatment and liked it.

Within 24 hours, my skin was almost completely clear of blemishes and any scars left from previous breakouts. My face looked brighter and tighter, especially after I added in the Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream. It only took me a few days to see results, and I ended up purchasing two bi-weekly treatments— Umbrian Clay Mask and Umbrian Clay Exfoliant— and the Peony Brightening Spot Correcting Serum to complete my regimen.

I have been using the products for a little over a week, and my skin is the best it has ever been— clear and balanced.

I have also been using these products a bit differently that I have used products in the past. I wash my face twice with cleanser— once to remove surface impurities and another time to deep clean. Then, I layer on my serum and eye cream. I brush my teeth or do something for a few minutes while these creams set in and then apply lotion. If I am going outside, I use the SPF. Allowing products to soak in and building them up from thinnest to thickest seals each layer in so that all each product's benefits are maximized.
