P.S. I Loved This #1

When you squeeze that last bit of face wash out of the tube, you know it's really good.

"Empties" posts, where bloggers and YouTubers detail products so good that they use every last drop, have become increasingly popular on the internet. And for good reason— it takes a real standout product to hold the attention of people who love trying out the latest potions. In the past, I've done a few posts about my tried and true makeup and skincare products, but today I've rounded up the last five products I've finished— and why I would recommend them to all of you.

 1. Weleda Skin Food— At just about $12 for 2.5 oz, this is product is a steal (you can buy it at Target!). What's more is that I use it everywhere— from dry elbows to sore feet, and even on my face. In fact, after reading a number of testimonies from people who switched to Skin Food as their daily moisturizer, I thought I would give it a try. It is hands down the best moisturizer I've used– in fact, I just opened up my third tube. The texture is almost balmy, and works best if you apply after you've heated it up in your hands, making it seem like a heavy moisturizer but it absorbs almost instantly and hasn't caused me any irritation (in fact, I haven't had a single breakout since I started using this!).

2. Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil—This cleanser is a great oil-based makeup remover that dissolves even the most stubborn waterproof eyeliner. For dry skin types, you could probably use this alone. However, I've found that it does leave behind a bit of residue, which I wash off with another cleanser (#doublecleansing, am I right?). I think this is a great product because it is both effective and gentle— no harsh scrubbing or cotton ball is required.

3. Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Modern Love— When it comes to nail polish, I'm not one to be bold with color. Deborah Lippmann's Modern Love is a natural mauve appropriate for all seasons and settings. The best part is that it doesn't show chips! The polish goes on sheer with one coat, but with a second swipe of the brush easily becomes opaque (which is how I wear it).

4. Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in 88 Noir Intense— This liner won me over a few years ago and it is all I've used since. I bought it on a vacation when I had forgotten some make up after a salesperson claimed it was "unlike any other liner." Intrigued by this promise, I shelled out what seemed like a ridiculous amount of money for a black pencil. But let me tell you, it is worth every penny. The liner is both smudgy and smudge-proof as it wears throughout the day but doesn't run or cause dreaded racoon eyes. But be warned— there is no way to get this off without makeup remover!

5. Pureology Hydrate Conditioner— I got hooked on this nourishing conditioner back when I used to dye my hair. I love the fresh minty scent in the morning! If you leave the product in for a few minutes, you can actually feel it working as your scalp starts to tingle. The formula is surprisingly lightweight though, and I sometimes use it on the ends of my hair as a leave-in conditioner, which guarantees I'll have a good hair day.

What are your can't-live-without products?
xoxo,
Ashley
