For this post, I teamed up with Smashbox Cosmetics to review two of their new products released just in time for summer: Be Legendary Lipgloss and Full Exposure Mascara.
I have been a fan of the company for a long time (especially their eyeshadow and foundation primers), and was very excited when they reached out! I have been wearing both products for the past few days to see how I liked them, and here are the results!

The claim: "Inspired by photo gels found on set, this gloss starts with a clear, hydrating base free of traditional heavy binders (meaning no stick-factor), then it's infused slowly with bold pigments (unlike most glosses that are over-processed in a rush."
Quick take: Moisturizing, non-stick, great color
The result: I loved this lipgloss! First of all, the color I was sent is called "Gingerly" and is described online as a "warm rosy burnt coral," which I think is very accurate. It is especially flattering on people with rosier skin tones or green to blue eyes. I am not usually a lipgloss wearer as most formulas leave an unpleasant sticky residue on my lips. However, this product felt a bit thicker and more moisturizing/balm-like with a great wash of color that looked very natural. I would absolutely repurchase this and am already looking at a few other colors online (looking at you, Disco Rose).

Quick take: No-clumps, lots of volume, waterproof
The result: This is a great waterproof mascara. I definitely think it is a good buy for summer given just how long-lasting the formula is. I don't know if I would wear this every day as it takes some work to get off, but it is definitely the perfect option for going out at night (it is very build able for dramatic false-looking lashes) or for situations where your eyes will come in contact with water or sweat. The brush is huge and bristly which allowed me to coat every inch of my lashes as well as add multiple coats for extra volume and length. I definitely noticed a difference in how long and curled my lashes looked!
