Tech Spotlight: StackSocial

I was catching up with a friend a few days ago over FaceTime who was telling me about his summer internship at an awesome company called StackSocial based in Venice Beach, California. Essentially, StackSocial is a "marketplace for people to discover, share, and buy" everything technology related-- from apps to tech accessories to cutting edge gadgets.

At first, this seemed a little daunting to a girl who still keeps a pen and paper agenda (I somehow always mess up iCal) but this online website appeals to everyone from the most hardcore techies to well, me.

Upon exploring the site initially, I was a little overwhelmed by just how much StackSocial had to offer, but I have found so many useful apps and tutorials in the past few days that I think will majorly improve my tech literacy, productivity and data organization.

I am so excited to follow some of the tutorials, namely the Gmail Lifesaver Course (finally an organized email inbox!) and I also absolutely love the sleek accessories I saw online. I am definitely considering purchasing the DODO Hardcover phone cases that I saw on sale-- I love the red case as it will be easy to spot inside my purse and also protects my phone's screen (no more scratches hooray!).

However, I find the most valuable and user-friendly part of the site to be the blog. It is a compilation of all things tech-related. From new releases, to community app picks to brief how to guides, most of my basic technology questions are answered in easy-to-understand writing.

This is definitely a site I will continue to explore and would really recommend to techies and non techies alike!

xoxo
